Acceptance of Terms
By using Short My Frag (shortmyfrag.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.
Service Description
Short My Frag is a web-based tool that converts horizontal FPS gameplay clips into vertical 9:16 format (split-screen with kill feed on top), optimized for YouTube Shorts and TikTok. You upload a video file, our server processes it using the cscrop engine, and you download the converted result. That's it.
Accounts
You sign in using your Google or Discord account via OAuth. We don't create passwords or store your OAuth tokens beyond what's needed for your session. You're responsible for the security of the account you use to sign in. If you suspect unauthorized access, disconnect Short My Frag from your Google or Discord account settings.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: - Upload illegal content or content that violates someone else's rights - Attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the service - Circumvent any usage limits or quotas - Use automated tools to spam the conversion pipeline - Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service
Your Content
You retain all rights to the video files you upload. We don't claim ownership of your content. Your files are processed on our server and deleted immediately after you download the result. We do not store, archive, or share your video files. If you don't download the result within a reasonable time, the files are automatically cleaned up.
Intellectual Property
Short My Frag and the cscrop conversion engine are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding, name, or technology without permission. The converted videos you create are yours. The free tier includes a small watermark on the output.
Disclaimer
Short My Frag is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're an indie project, not a big corporation with an SLA. We don't guarantee uptime, processing speed, or that the service will be available forever. We do our best, but things can break.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Short My Frag and its creators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. This includes lost data, lost revenue, or any indirect damages. Since your files are ephemeral and deleted after processing, make sure you keep your original clips.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Major changes will be communicated through the service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
