Introduction
Short My Frag (shortmyfrag.com) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We keep things simple: we collect only what's necessary to run the service, and we don't sell your data to anyone.
What We Collect
When you sign in via Google or Discord, we receive your basic profile information: - Display name - Email address - Profile picture (avatar) When you use the service, we temporarily process your uploaded video files on our server.
How We Use Your Data
Your profile information is used to: - Authenticate you and manage your session - Associate conversions with your account - Communicate with you if needed (e.g., service updates) Your video files are used exclusively for the conversion process. Nothing else.
Data Storage and Retention
Your account information (name, email, avatar) is stored in our database for as long as your account exists. We do NOT store your video files. They are deleted immediately after you download the converted result. If a file isn't downloaded within a reasonable time, it's automatically cleaned up. No copies, no backups, no archives.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services for authentication: - Google OAuth: subject to Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) - Discord OAuth: subject to Discord's Privacy Policy (https://discord.com/privacy) We only receive the basic profile information listed above. We don't access your Google Drive, Discord messages, or any other data from these platforms.
Cookies
We use a minimal number of cookies: - Authentication session cookie: keeps you signed in - Locale preference: remembers your language choice (English/French) We don't use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
Your Rights

Children
Short My Frag is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
